The Summer term is well under way and as usual, children and teachers are very busy. Year 1's enjoyed a fabulous visit to the seaside and EYFS had a pirate party. We have even more excitement to come with our POP up Literacy week starting on 26th June where we will be visited by 3 well known children's authors. Look out for the photos!!!
The Spring term was very busy at Queen's Drive. We enjoyed some great visits including West Lodge farm, Tattershall castle and Woburn safari park. We also enjoyed looking for the signs of Spring.
BIG PEDAL FORTNIGHT went really well - we had record numbers of children cycling and scooting to school. From 3rd April it was WALK TO SCHOOL week, another very successful week with Rabbits and Bumble Bees winning the prizes.
Children really enjoyed our ARTS week in school. They listened and appraised music, sang and played instruments and enjoyed working with 'Travelling Tuba'. Some beautiful art work has also been produced.
The new homework and reading challenges are lots of fun as well as giving the opportunity for children to win prizes! Make sure you are reading every day at home!
We gave out lots of prizes for attendance from last term - over 120 prizes and certificates!!! Well done on those with 100% attendance.
