Welcome to the Voles class!

                                                   

In our class you will find Mrs Talbot and Mrs O'Hara in the morning and Miss Turner in the afternoons.

We enjoy learning through play, working together outside on our decking, working in small groups and independently. 

We love WOW days, where we get to see a visitor, go on a trip or get into our new topic. In the Autumn term our first topic was SUPER ME. We had a fantastic WOW day! Ghost Spider the Super hero came into school and we worked on becoming Superheroes.

                     

We had a fabulous WOW Day trip to the Central park. We got to explore the park and play on the play equipment. This helped us with our Design and Technology project.

Our Autumn term 2 topic was LEGO CITY and we had a fantastic workshop where we made Peterborough buildings from Lego. We also learnt about a range of different materials in our Science lessons.

In Spring term 1, our topic 'TOY STORY was great fun. We found out about toys from the past and had a visit to the museum. We also worked on a project in DT and developed our Computing skills. 

Our Spring term 2 topic was ANIMAL ANTICS where we explored animals and visited Hamerton zoo.

This term our topic is GROOVY GROWING.
