Now that December has come round, school is very busy with lots of exciting activities and events. You will therefore find a whole list of what's happening over the next 3 weeks of the term. Please keep this information handy so that you don't miss what's going on at school. (Please just ask the office if you would like a paper copy of this newsletter).

CHRISTMAS FAYRE @ QUEEN'S DRIVE

On Wednesday 4th December, we will be holding our fayre in the school hall / cloakroom area. We would be delighted to have as many people attending as possible. There will be cakes, refreshments, craft activities and different games and gift stalls. (Please note - we can now take cash or card payments).

EVENTS AT ALL SAINT'S CHURCH

As part of our RE curriculum, we will be taking children to view the lovely Christmas tree festival at All Saint's church on Friday 6th December. (Children who are excluded from RE will not attend).

Children in Year 1 and 2 will be visiting the church again on Wednesday 11th December to take part in a Christingle assembly. (Children excluded from assembly will not attend this). This is a lovely opportunity for the children to see all the candles lit up. Every year, the children in Year 2 get the special opportunity of making a Christingle and holding them in the church.

Please note for this to happen - Children in Otters, Moles and Deer need to please bring in a large orange on Tuesday 10th December so that they can make their Christingles.

CHRISTMAS DINNER DAY

On Wednesday 18th December, we will be serving up Christmas dinner for the children with crackers and music! Please order in the normal way.

Also, on Wednesday 18th December, we will be wearing our uniform but with Christmas jumpers instead of our school jumpers! In the afternoon we will also be taking part in an 'Elf walk' and enjoying hot chocolate! Donations of £1 would be greatly received to help with this.

CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING

Our next monthly coffee morning will take place on Monday 16th December 9-10am. We will have some Christmas treats to nibble on with your drinks. There will also be a raffle to win one of 3 lovely hampers! We also have a special guest from the Early Help team who will talk about services for families in the local area.
