Summer half-term 2

We are now into the final half-term of the school year. As always, we have lots of lovely activities planned for this term. There are also a few dates for your diaries where you can hopefully join us in school.

                           

Sports Days

We will be holding separate year group sports days all during the week of 16th June, which is National Sports week 2025. 

Year 2 Sports Day will take place over at TDA on their field. This will be on Monday 16th June from 9:15-10:30am for all 3 classes. Please join us there.

Year 1 Sports Day will take place at Queen's Drive on Wednesday 18th June. Rabbits session will be at 9-10am and Squirrels / Voles will be at 10:15-11:15am. Please join us.

EYFS sports Day will be on Thursday 19th June. Foxes will be 9 -10am, Badgers will be at 10-11am and Hedgehogs will be from 1-2pm.

Please wear PE kit on Sports Day plus the usual PE day.

We will also be having giveaways every morning that week, so watch out for the cards in the mornings!!!

                                                               

Staffing changes

At the end of this term we will sadly be saying goodbye to Mrs Bloor, our SENDCO and Miss Sheikh Hedgehogs teacher as they move on to new ventures. We wish them lots of luck.

We will be welcoming a new SENDCO Mrs Possnett and new class teacher Mrs Elahi.

Transition 'move up' day will be on 3rd July where both of our new staff members will be in school to meet the children and parents at home-time.

Fundraising - we need you!!!

We have held some enjoyable events this year which have been very well-supported, and we have used the money raised to subsidise school trips and visitors to school. We would really like to hold a summer fête on a Saturday this term, but we need helpers to run stalls etc. We have staff members who are willing to help, but we need more!!! If you feel that you or a family member / older sibling could help us, please come and talk to Mrs Bell in the office as soon as possible. Or you may know someone who can run a Henna or food stall, for example? If we can get enough helpers, then we will hold a fête on the afternoon of Saturday, July 5th.

Prizewinners

Well done to all our attendance and homework competition winners from last term. We will have more awards at the end of this term.
