I joined the Governing Body in September 2024, having been connected with the school for the past eight years. With 28 years of experience in education, I bring a strong understanding of the sector, and I am committed to supporting the school’s continued success. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my family. Over the past year, I have greatly valued the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the school, and I look forward to working closely with Sarah and the team in the year ahead.

I joined QDI in 2004 and, over the years, have worked in a range of roles including class teacher, intervention support teacher, Key Stage Lead and Deputy Head. This breadth of experience has given me a strong understanding of teaching, learning and school leadership. I thoroughly enjoy working at QDI because of its strong ethos and commitment to celebrating the diverse cultures within our community. During my time at the school, I have seen many positive changes and developments, and I am proud to continue supporting QDI in my role as an Associate Governor.
