Queen's Drive Infant School
Student Council
Pupils have the opportunity to have their voices heard through our school council where our class ambassadors meet.
Members are elected from each class who then meet and share ideas from class councils on key issues in school. The children learn about being responsible citizens, sharing their views in key issues and listening and respecting the views of others. Miss Snow meets regularly with the group.
Each class in KS1 have elected two children as their class ambassadors.
Latest news -The school council met to discuss favourite lunchtime games and generated new ideas to enhance lunchtime provision, which have been shared with the Midday Co-ordinator
The school council have started to think about planning a new sensory garden with our Eco Co-ordinator.

"School is untidy" - we have introduced our 'Big Green Spring Clean' where we all work together to 'blitz' different areas of school and have lots of fun in the process!
Children now say: 'A tidy school makes me smile' 'I like helping to keep our playground nice'
"Some children don't play nicely with the toys in the playground" - we have worked really hard to 'zone' the playground and only use selected resources each day. Now the toys are played with much better.
Children now say 'My playground is fun and has lots to do like colouring and riding bikes'
