Attendance

Attendance is a huge priority for the school because every day in school counts and missed days are missed learning opportunities

We have a number of strategies to improve attendance including weekly and termly awards for good attendance. We have a Family support worker who works with families to support attendance.

 

Last term we successfully trialled the use of wellbeing phone calls and home visits where children had extended absence and this is now embedded in our policy.
