Transition

As children reach the end of Year 2 at Queen’s Drive Infant School, they could be offered a place at Thomas Deacon Junior Academy for their KS2 education if you have completed the Junior School application form. This MUST be completed before the January deadline if you want your child to be considered for a place by the LA.

We work very closely with the teachers at Thomas Deacon Junior Academy to ensure effective transition between the two schools. If your child is offered a place at another school for their KS2 education, we will ensure that appropriate transition is in place and liaise directly with the new school.
